The project was developed in response to the course topic of ‘Inequality in New Zealand’. There are still large numbers of children in New Zealand who are not connected to the internet because of poverty. With the advent of Covid-19, schools have become increasingly reliant on online technology, making the consequences of digital divide dire. A large number of students have been left behind by education as a result.

I assumed the Ministry of Education as the client to inform people about what they have already done and to draw people’s attention to the problems that already exist. IT in the text can also be interpreted as information technology in addition to being a pronoun.
