Starting something new is always hard, and moving to another city is exactly that. To ease the stress experienced by young adults who have just moved to Wellington, and to help them make connections in their new neighbourhood, we curated this fictional project.

Our project is a temporary city orienteering campaign. It encourages people to travel by bus to different parts of the city, following hints, looking for clues and exploring their surroundings. It’s aimed at helping people get out of their comfort zones and explore locations that they’ve never been to before. We help people easily start conversations by doing the same thing together and discover interesting locations in new cities.

The project included mascot designs, bus adverts, bus stop billboards and 3d installations, a webpage and a mobile app.
Participants were rewarded with exclusively designed bus cards as an incentive to make the bus system more practical in the future.
